We are looking for a proven team player to join our dynamic group as a full time
Recruiter. The Recruiter will function from our main office in Burlington with travel to the
Toronto office as required. The Recruiter will be responsible for meeting the hiring needs
of Organizational Solutions Inc. to see it through its future growth without the usage of
hiring agencies. As a Recruiter you will be focused on providing full cycle recruitment
support to Organizational Solutions Inc. to ensure business needs are met.
Main Accountabilities
RECRUITMENT PROCESS
Attracting new hires through a strategic approach using a variety of internal and external
sourcing tools
Responsible for full cycle recruitment, from sourcing resumes, prescreening candidates,
interviewing to negotiating offers
Coordinating meet and greets as well as any relevant testing for the candidates
Completing Reference checks and Reference authorization forms
Maintaining regular contact with candidates including getting prompt feedback on
candidates and follow up on interviews
JOB POSTINGS
Identifying appropriate job board sites to post jobs
Creating attractive job postings that appeal to specific target audiences
Responsible for creating, editing and deleting job postings
PRESENTATIONS
Responsible for delivering Policies and Procedures presentation and;
Health and Safety presentations to new staff
Facilitate on boarding sessions
SPECIAL PROJECTS:
APPLICANT TRACKING SYSTEM
Responsible for developing / enhancing the existing system and maintaining it
Track applicant activity and other recruitment and selection measures / outcomes
Responsible for formulating job descriptions which entails obtaining all information that
clearly defines the search parameters (key responsibilities, requirements, reporting
structure and compensation)
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Recruitment experience
- Experience working within a recruitment agency environment an asset
- Bilingualism in French and English an asset but not mandatory
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for recruitment and selection
- Knowledge of Human Rights and Employment Standards Act
- Excellent Computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
- Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully and think outside the box
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be flexible where required
- Open to change and innovation
- Must be able to meet tight deadlines and respond quickly to recruitment needs to ensure
business needs are met
