We take an “organizational health” perspective when managing employee absence from work due to non-occupational or occupational injury, illness or disease. With the highest level of respect and caring, all claims are adjudicated and managed while maintaining an objective evidence based approach. We firmly believe that employees must have sufficient objective medical support for their absence and be involved in active treatment to resolve their disability. Getting well is the employee’s primary job while they are off work. Our belief is that healthy employees collectively contribute to a healthy organization, especially when the culture of the organization supports individual employee health, wellness and productivity. This belief underlies all of our services and their delivery.
Our program focuses on early intervention, the earlier the better. The sooner you can intervene with employees the more likely it is they will gain the appropriate care, recover and return to work.
